I was born in Kirkwood, MO to William Dewey Angel and Judy Belle (Alexander) Angel. I had a happy childhood, graduated in 1982 from Kirkwood High School.
After working, mostly in various bookkeeping/accounting jobs most of my professional life, I became a small business owner in 1996 when I authored a book and ran a large website called Missouri Trailblazing, about the equestrian trails available here in Missouri. I retired from, and sold that business in 2016 after 20 years.
Still mostly retired, I have fun and make extra fun money customizing Marx Thunderbolt Model Horses and writing Family History books about my family. I also volunteer at a local low cost spay/neuter clinic as their bookkeeper and treasurer on their board.
I have been working on my Family History since about 1998 or so.
I don't have a large number of people in my family tree as I'm interested more in quality than quantity. I enjoy taking time to do extra research, finding info and stories behind the names and dates as much as possible.
I've been married since 1997 to Henry (Hank) Vonk. We have 3 kids, live on a small farm in Owensville, MO with 2 birds, 3 horses, and 14 cats.
My hobbies include horse trail and obstacle course riding, equestrian camping, crafting, family history research, and traveling. I'm living my dream.
