Biography
Adelaide Emeline Andrus was born on Sep. 24, 1855 to Benjamin Andrus and Ann Belden. She also went by the name Emily or Addie.
She married Rev. John Francis Aiken, son of John and Mary Means (Appleton) Aiken of Andover, on May 9, 1878.[1] They had one son, John, b. 1879.
Rev. Aiken preached at Abington, Braintree and Pawlet, Vermont, Also Chichester, New Hampshire where he died on Aug. 18, 1880.
Addie then married William B. Miller in 1887 and had a son, Paul W. Miller, born Aug. 3, 1897. They made their home in Granville and White Plains, New York.
Addie died on Aug. 11, 1935. She is buried at the Mettawee Valley Cemetery in Pawlet, Vermont.[2]
