Alexander (known as Alick) Andrews was born on November 11, 1871, to parents Charles Andrews and Sarah Jane Aisle.
Alick (32) married Maud Rebecca Clark (23) (born on May 10, 1880 in Carcoar, New South Wales, Australia; daughter of William Clark and Alice (Parry) Clark) in 1904 in Murwillumbah, New South Wales. Their children were:
- Eric Lyle Andrews (1905–1979)
- Dudley Vincent Andrews (1907–1993)
- Enid Vedella Andrews (1908–1979)
Alick died in 1950, aged 78, and is memorialised at Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens and Crematorium at Holland Park (Brisbane) Queensland.
