Daniel Anderson is a part of US Black heritage.

Rev. Daniel Anderson was born enslaved in September 1853 in Holmes, Mississippi, United States. He was the son of Jefferson Davis Anderson, Sr. and Mariah (maiden name unknown).
On June 1, 1870, David, age 17, was in Tchula, Holmes, Mississippi.[1]
On June 1, 1880, Danl, age 27, working on farm, was the single son of Jeff Anderson in Beat 5, Holmes, Mississippi.[2]
Between 1880 and 1900, Daniel married Sophia Plummer, likely in Holmes County, Mississippi. Based on the age of the oldest child on the 1900 census, the marriage probably occurred about 1882.
On June 1, 1900, Daniel, age 45, was the married head of household in Holmes, Mississippi.[3]
On April 15, 1910, Daniel, age 56, was the married head of household in Beat 5, Holmes, Mississippi.[4]
On January 1, 1920, Daniel, age 65, was the married head of household in Beat 1, Holmes, Mississippi.[5]
It appears that Rev. Daniel and Sophia had at least 13 children:
