Biography

Abraham was born in New Jersey in 1743, the son of Abraham Anderson Sr and Susannah Berger.

the family moved to Newberry district, South Carolina where he married Vilinda Gilder in 1777.
OR married 10 Feb 1763, St. John's Parish (Baltimore City), Baltimore County, Maryland.

He was in the military in 1779.
We learn from a Revolutionary War pension application^[1] that his wife's name was Vilinda Guilder and that he served as a Lieutenant in Captain Frederick Gray's company of militia in Newberry, South Carolina.

He died May 9, 1815 in Pendleton, SC, age 70
