Biography

Garland Williamson Anderson was born on July 3, 1918 in Pettis County, MO,[1] the son of Elijah Anderson and Melissa Williamson.[2]

In the 1910 census Garland (age 2) was the son of Elijah Anderson in Green Ridge, Pettis, Missouri, United States.[3]

In the 1920 census Garland (age 11) was the son of Eliza Anderson in Bethlehem Township, Henry, Missouri, United States.[4]

In the 1930 census Garland (age 21) was the married head of household in Bethlehem Township, Henry, Missouri, United States.[5]

In the 1940 census Garland (age 31) was the married head of household in Sedalia Township, Pettis, Missouri, United States.[6]

Garland registered for the military draft on 16 October 1940 in Sedalia, Pettis, Missouri, United States.[1]

In the 1950 census Garland (age 41), Construction Wk, was the married head of household in Longwood, Pettis, Missouri, United States.[7]

Garland died on March 16, 1959 in Sedalia, Pettis County, MO[2][8][9] and is buried in Longwood Cemetery, Pettis County, MO.[2][10]
