Reverend Matthew Anderson was the founding Pastor of the Berean Presbyterian Church, organizer of Berean Savings and Loan and the Berean Institute.[1]
Matthew Anderson married Caroline Still Wiley in 1880 and together they founded The Berean Manual Training and Industrial School, a vocational and liberal arts school.[2]
