I think Hubert Cloutier 1595 and Hubert Cloutier 878 are two different people.
I have a marriage record for Hubert Cloutier b.1835 d.-1915 in Worcester, MA, listing Joseph Cloutier b.1805-d.1886, as his father.
It's on my ancestry.com tree and I'm not sure how to post on wiki.
How do I change his mothers family line.
His mother is Henriette St Amand b. 1809 not Gignac.

Jean Baptiste Cloutier is brother to Hubert Cloutier
Hi Gail, it looks like you've already merged them, but I believe both records had exactly the same information. If there is another Hubert Cloutier, a new record should be created. Moreover, it's not entered according to standard on Henriette's profile, but St Amand is Henriette's dit name. So her full name would be Henriette Gignac dit St Amand (likely same for her paternal ancestors in Canada). It's possible that some descendants adopted the dit name as the last name if/once they migrated to the US. Lastly, I recommend checking PRDH for all Canadian records. The University of Montreal has done most of our work for us. Here is Hubert's family. Let me know if I am missing anything.
Update: I now see what you mean--sorry for the confusion. Hubert's parents are Jean Baptiste Cloutier and Helene Gignac. Joseph is Jean Baptiste's brother, and he married Henriette Robert dit St Amand. They had a family too, but no sons named Hubert that I can tell. So I think it is fine to remove Hubert's parents and add the correct ones.
One more update: Rereading your message, I see you refer to a marriage record that claims Joseph is his father. So we will have to reconcile your records with PRDH and determine whether we are dealing with one Hubert or two, who the correct father is, and what the correct basic details are.
Hi Tim, By looking at the marriage records and the census records it's possible to see that Phoebe's mother was Betsy Watkins. Coleman and Betsy were married in 1818, and Coleman married Phoebe Buchanan in 1825. Phoebe Claytor was born in 1821, so Bob's your auntie. BTW there are two Phoebes in the list of children who need to be merged.
It appears, from reading the 1809 Miami Co OH probate, that William Barbee b 1751 had married Margaret Marshall the elder, when it's actually related individuals in the next generation of the same names who married. The probate document is very confounding to read at 1st, but after some thought I realized it couldn't possibly be the same individuals.
The two Barbee cousins, William b 1751 and William b 1759, are constantly confused. Wm b 1759 went to Miami Co OH about 1800 and d 1813 of wounds received in the War of 1812.
Wm b 1751 went to Ross Co OH and d in 1826. We know Wm b 1751 and family had settled in Ross Co by 1809 because their daughter Sarah died there that year. From then on he never moved, though county boundaries shifted around him.
