Ruth Elvira Anderson was born on 18 June 1896 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.[1]. She was the daughter of Andreas Troedsson and Martha Eriksdatter Haavig.[2]

She married Eugene Mathias Matson on 22 February 1922 in Cook County, Illinois.[3]

She died on 5 July 1935 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Blue Island, Cook County, Illinois on 8 July 1935.[4]
