John was baptised on 5 February 1832 in Redcliffe by parents John and Emma Ancrum, John was an Accountant and the family lived in Bedminster. [1]
In 1851 John was one of 10 children living in Bedminster with parents John and Emma. His father John was a Clerk for Floor Cloth factory and so was young John. [2]
John Ancrum and Mary Ann Jenkins married on 11 October 1858 in Redcliffe, Bristol. John was a Clerk, his father was an Accountant. Mary Ann's father Henry Jenkins had passed away. John Ancrum and Lavinia Ancrum were witnesses. [3]
In 1881 John and Mary A were living in Bedminster with 3 children. John was a Commercial Clerk (Floorcloth). [4]
John Ancrum of 9 Allington Road, Southville, Bedminster, Bristol, retired manufacturers clerk died 14 June 1917. probate to Edward james Davey, Accountant. effects £269 11s 6d. [5]
