Is this the same probate record from Feb 1788 in Sussex County, New Jersey where wife Eleanor was the administrator? When I click this link it tells me I need to view it at a family history center.
Does the probate document indicate a description of the 70 acres of land? Was it also in Knowlton Township, which was then in Sussex County, but is now in Warren County? Is there any indication of how this land was acquired or what its disposition was? I may need to look it up at an affiliate library, unless you beat me to it.
I screwed up and only have a partial copy of it. FS changed their policy and now don't allow downloads of restricted documents like these. You can only screen cap and I didn't realize that I didn't get the whole thing. I'll email you what I have.
