Biography
On 5 Apr 1874, James P Alvis and J A Wallace (23) were married in Randolph County, Arkansas. He was 22 and a resident of Randolph County.[1][2] In 1880 they were living in the Elevenpoint Township of Randolph County, Arkansas with their son John Alvis (1). The record shows that James was 27 and born in Tennessee. Also listed as members of the household were James's sister Rosaline Olvis (32), his niece Margaret Puckett (10), and his nephew James Puckett (7).[3]
