Biography
John Thomas Alvis was born on September 27, 1915 in San Augustine, San Augustine County, TExas.[1] He was the son of Charles Alvis and Mary Knight.
He married Ona Fay McLane (1916-2000) on February 25,1943 in Hildalgo County, Texas.[2] They had one child.
He died on January 13, 1996, at the age of 79,[3] in Irving, Dallas County, Texas, and was buried in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.[1]
