Ronald was born on 18 November 1933 in Buffalo, Erie, New York, United States.[1]
Ronald married Alyce Marie Hart on 23 February 1957 in Eggertsville, Erie, New York.[2] Together they adopted two daughters, Ellen Altenburg and Jane Altenburg. Their biologic son was Michael Hart Altenburg.
Ronald died on 16 October 2010 in Williamsville, Erie, New York.[1] He was buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, Erie County, New York, United States.[3]
