Research Notes

I am removing this marriage record as on the Ohio Marriage Records on Ancestry someone has in fact corrected Sarah Alspach on the 1836 marriage to Andrew Groves to be corrected to the name Mary Magdalena Alspach (her sister)[5], which is what I suspected (wrong name on marriage record) due to first child between Andrew and Mary being in 1836. This was previously recorded as:

Note this record is suspect, as she is already married and having children with her first husband, before and after this record. Her sister Mary Catherine is married to this Andrew Groves around this time also, and I suspect it may be their marriage record with an incorrect first name: She married Andrew Grove on 10 Jan 1836 in Fairfield, Ohio, United States.[6]

Sarah was born in 1807. She passed away in 1888.
