Hi Dawn, I believe that Mathew-8 and Mathew-250 are the same person (William Mathew). Can you add me to the trusted list or orphan this profile so that I can update it. I am a direct descendent of William.
Hi Dawn, I've left a comment on Mary Unknown, sent a private message and a trusted list request in order to get this profile updated with the correct Last Name at Birth. Can you please action or add me to the trusted list or orphan the profile so this can be actioned?
I would like to be admitted to Cicely King's (King-947) trusted list to be able to complete a proposed merge, but also to keep an eye on the various edits that are made to her profile due to the inaccuracies in Charles Ragland's book.

If you would complete the pending merge that would be marvellous.
Hi Dawn: I just wanted to say "Congratulations" on becoming one of the newest Red Badged "Generous Genealogist".
I agree with Scott who said

I have read your comments on Beaufort-144 and sympathise with your wish to keep false information away. It would be extremely useful if you could provide sources confirming the actual last name at birth of this person. We could then merge the "Beaufort" profile away. The two profiles clearly represent the same person, so they will have to be merged, and your input is extremely important in choosing which way the merge will go.
Also, adding a paragraph in the profile describing the legend and why it is wrong is often the best way to keep it from flourishing.
Thank you for your understanding.
Nothing will be lost if the two Thomas Raglands are merged. One of them is pretty bare anyway, and any information in the bio section of each profile will appear in the merged profile till someone cleans it up.
Cymru is a Project to improve the profiles of Welsh royals and aristocrats, 742-1535, and it is part of the EuroAristo Project. We have naming guidelines for using the Welsh patronymics and try to improve, tie together and source the profiles of the Welsh during the period covered. We try to use sources that are either contemporary or close to the period, but sometime secondary sources are the easiest to find. Sourcing can be difficult, especially for someone like me, who doesn't read gaelic, but much is now available free on the internet. It you are interested, please let me know.

I am experiencing a problem with 2 parts of my tree & I'm not sure how to fix it. It automatically filled 2 separate lines with wrong information or in both cases out of order or made brothers a parent that was incorrect. . When I try to correct it, I'm running into several blocks. Please advise how I can take out the wrong ones & put the right ones in they are managed by other people.
You just connect them to each other through a profile where they link. For example, you add someone as someone else's parent spouse sibling etc and then they are connected.
I suggest you load each tree separately. it works much better that way. You will need to remove the royals from your husbands tree because the profiles already exist here. You will need to have at least one date (birth death or marriage) for every profile before it will load.

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!
