Biography
Alfred Percy Allsopp was born on 26 August 1861 in Hindlip and christened there on the 10 October the same year[1] [2][3][4]
The family lived at Hindlip Hall.[5]
He was educated at Eton College.[6]
He went up to Trinity College, Cambridge in 1880 .[4]
Elected MP for Taunton in 1887 and 1892.[3]
He married Lillian Maud Chesshire on 23 July 1890 in Droitwich[7][3]
He served in the Intelligence Corps in World War I, seeing service in France.[6][8]
He died in 1929[4]
