Biography
John Allison was born in Appalachia, in Pennsylvania.
John was born in 1859. He was the son of James Allison and Caroline Snowden.
Occupation: Assistant Editor and Business Manager of the Presbyterian Banner, Pittsburgh.
He married Margaret Burtch "Maggie" Laughlin (1864–1940). They had a son:
John Maudgridge Snowden Allison (1888–1944).
He passed away in 1887. Buried at Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
