Loomis Allen was born in McLeansboro, Illinois on the 3rd of May 1885 to William Allen and Rhonda Crouse.
He would marry Mae Harrawood and they would have:

Funeral services for Loomis Allen will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at J J Moran & Son's where friends may call after 4 pm today. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mr. Allen, 81, of 253 E. King St. died at 6:20 pm, Wednsday at Decatur and Macon County Hospital.
Mr. Allen had been in the Wakefield Nursing Home for the past 10 months.
Mr. Allen, a retired Wabash employee, was born May 3, 1885 in McLeansboro.
He had worked for the Wabash Railroad for 46 years, and was a section foreman for part of that time.
Mr. Allen had been a Decatur resident for the last 30 years, moving to Decatur from Meredosia.
He was a member of the Methodist Church, of the Modern Woodman of American and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Employees.
He married Mae Harrawood, who died in 1954. He marrid Rose E. McLemore in 1958 in Decatur. She died Augst 7, 1966.
Mr. Allenleaves a son, Harold D. Allen, Decatur; daughter, Mrs. Walter (Janean) Pflaume, Freeport; brothers Vernon and Clyde, Freemont.
