Hattie (Allen) McCoy is a part of US Black heritage.
Hattie was born January 28, 1920 in Cle Elum, Kittitas, Washington, USA. She is the daughter of Hillard Allen and Mary Stoneham.
FIRST MARRIAGE
- On August 18. 1939, a marriage license application was completed by her and Lowell Pollard in Klickitat County, Washington, USA. She was 19 years old and he was 23 and born in Toppenish.[1]

He was 26 years old, born Junction City, Kansas and resided at the time at Camp Murray, Washington State. Witnesses were Chris Williams and William Rice. Marriage was performed by L. R. Hayes.[3]
THIRD MARRIAGE
- On September 25, 1959, she married David Neal McCoy in Seattle, King, Washington. Both were of legal age. He was born in Arkadelphia, Clark County, Arkansas and she resided in Kittikas County. Witnesses were Frank L. Jones and Jewell J. Barnett.[4]
On October 20, 1973, as Hattie Lee Broadnax she and David Neal McCoy had a religious celebrant marriage ceremony in Las Vegas, Clark, Nevada. At that time, both were residents of California.[5]
Hattie's death was registered as H. Lee Broadnax on November 6, 2007 in Washington state, possibly Toppenish. Her obituary lists her husband David McCoy, her son David Broadnax and her sister Jewell Johnson.
