Don Wyatt Allen was born on December 30, 1933 in Lebanon, Laclede, Missouri, United States, son of Kenneth Wyatt Allen (1900–1995) and Ruby Isabella Fisher (1910–1995).

Don (16) married Betty Ellen Ivey (14) (born on October 15, 1935 in Lebanon, USA) in 1950 in Laclede County, Missouri. Their son was Richard Wyatt Allen (1953–2005).

Don died on September 9, 2006 in Bolivar, Polk, Missouri, aged 72. He was buried in Ivey Cemetery.^{[2] [3]}
