In 1870, Charles (5) was in the household of John B Allen. [1]
Charles (25) married Clara Van Matre (19) (born in 1870 in Lafayette, Wisconsin; daughter of Nathan Kelley Van Matre and Marilda (Wiley) Van Matre) on March 15, 1890 in Willow Springs, Lafayette, Wisconsin. Their daughter was Leila Matilda Allen (1895–1986).
Charles died on October 15, 1951 in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin, aged 87.
