Ella Allen was born about April, 1862 in Hatchachubbee, Russell, Alabama, United States, daughter of John Allen (~1814– ).^[1]

Ella married Thomas Pridgett (born about 1860 in Alabama). Their daughter was Melissa Pridgett (~1886–1935).

Ella died on June 8, 1935 in Columbus, Muscogee, Georgia, United States, aged about 72.^[2] She was buried in Porterdale Cemetery, Columbus.^[3]

Research Notes

Based on the census records, her husband Thomas Pridgett died some time before the 1900 census. Ella reported she was a widow.
