Moses Allen was born on 6 June 1848 in Rockford, Winnebago, Illinois, United States, son of Benjamin T Allen (about 1822–1910) and Sarah Jane Dobson (1827–1914).[1]

In 1850, Moses (2) was living in Roscoe, Winnebago, Illinois. [2]

In 1870, Moses (22) was in the household of his father, Benjamin. [3]

Moses and Amanda Whorton were married on 4 July 1872 in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, United States.[4] Amanda was born on 1 May 1857 in Greene, Missouri, United States. Their children were:

In 1900, Moses (52) was living in Wymore Township Wymore city Ward 1-2, Gage, Nebraska. [5]

In 1910, Moses (62) was living in McNeely Township, Tripp, South Dakota. [6]

In 1915, Moses (67) was living in Pierre, South Dakota. [7]

Moses died on 23 August 1943 in Rapid City, Pennington, South Dakota. He was buried in Winner City Cemetery, Winner, Tripp County, South Dakota.[1]
