Benjamin was a Friend (Quaker)

Benjamin was born 17d 4m 58 [17 Apr 1758].^[1] He was the son of Philip Allen and Susanna Allen.^[1]

He married Nancy Kirby on 19 May 1782.^[2]

He was granted a certificate to the Saratoga monthly meeting from the Dartmouth monthly meeting on 15th of 4mo 1799 [15 Apr 1799].^[3] He was accompanied by his wife Nancy and his mother-in-law Sylvia Kirby.^[3] The family included children Mahala, Thirza, Merinda, Pamala, William, Phebe, Humphrey, and Lydia.^[3]
