Biography

Emily Harrison Allen was born in Bombay, India in 1858 to George Allen and Tryphena House.^[1]

In 1878 she married Robert Coombes.^[2] They had two children, Robert Allen (b. 1882)^[3] and Nathaniel George (b. 1883).^[4]

In 1895 Emily was stabbed to death in her bed by her son Robert.^[5]
