Biography
Alexander Gaily[1] Allen was born on December 15, 1860[2] He was the son of Jonas Allen and Elizabeth McKay. Gaily married Mary Jane Allen on August 30, 1884. He was a farmer and a fisherman.[3]
Living with the family in 1901 was nephew John Allen, age 21 (born October 11, 1879). It is uncertain which of Gaily's or Mary Jane's siblings were John's father or mother.
