Thomas Jefferson Alford was born on August 25, 1859 in Daviess, Indiana, United States, son of Thomas Jefferson Alford (1830–1893) and Lucy Ann Perkins (1831–1871).[1]

In 1860, Thomas was in the household of Jeferson Alford. [1]

In 1880, Thomas (20) was living in Reeve, Daviess. [2]

Thomas (23) married Hattie Bell McCarty (19) (born on June 9, 1863 in Daviess; daughter of Eli McCarty and Louisa (Allen) McCarty) on January 1, 1883 in Daviess Co Indiana. Their children were:

In 1900, Thomas (40) was living in Reeve Township (east half), Daviess, Indiana. [3]

In 1910, Thomas J (50) was living in Reeve, Daviess. [4]

Thomas died on September 19, 1939 in Daviess, aged 80.
