Biography
Martha (Alexander) Kendall was born about 1730 in Colonial Virginia, daughter of Jacob Alexander (about 1710–1792).
Her siblings were:
- William Alexander (1729–1819)
- Susanna (Alexander) Shannon (1749–after 1812)
Martha died in 1817 in Bedford County (now Fulton), Pennsylvania, United States, aged about 86.[1] She was buried in Big Spring Cemetery, Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania.
Martha married John Kendall (born in 1730 in Colony of Virginia; son of John Kendall and Margaret Louise Flemming). Their known children were:
- Mary (Kendall) Gibson (about 1750–about 1825)
- William Kendall (about 1755–about 1824)
- Isabella Kendall (about 1766– )
- Francis Kendall (1768–1851)
- James Kendall (about 1770– )
