Elizabeth Alderton (married name Hyatt) was born around 1825 in Great Cressingham, Norfolk, England, the daughter of Elizabeth (Godfrey) Alderton and James Alderton.
She migrated to Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in July 1844 with her parents and siblings on the "Dale Park'.[citation needed]
She married James Hyatt in 1846 in Geelong, Victoria.[1] Their children were:[citation needed]
Elizabeth died in 1894 in Colac, Victoria in 1894.[2]
