Jesse was born in 1859. He was the son of William and Zylpha (King) Albritton and he is listed in their household on both: the 1860 Census (with seven siblings)[1] and the 1870 Census (with six siblings) in Union Parish, Louisiana.[2]
Jesse married Anna Eureka Henry on June 18, 1885 in Union Parish, Louisiana.[3] They are listed in Union Parish with six biological children, an adopted daughter and his mother-in-law, a sister-in-law, and a brother-in-law in their residence.[4] Jesse and Anna are also listed together on the 1910 Census in the same location with seven children listed.[5] The couple is also listed on the 1930 Census in Union Parish, Louisiana[6] and Jesse is listed as widowed on the 1940 Census.[7] He passed away in 1945 at the age of 85 and is buried next to Anna in Mount Ararat Cemetery in Point, Union Parish, Louisiana.
