Germany's biggest male movie star during the first half of the 20th century.

Hans was born in 1891 and was an entertainer. He began his film career in silent films, and co-starred with Marlene Dietrich in "The Blue Angel." He also sang, and his songs from his films became major hits. He was a son of Johanna Dorothea Rathjen and Philipp Albers. His Jewish girlfriend, Hansi Burg, lived in exile in the United Kingdom during World War II. They reunited after the war and then were together until his death in 1960.

Hans Albers war ein Sohn von Johanna Dorothea Rathjen und Philipp Albers. Herr Albers hatte eine jüdische Freundin, Hansi Burg, die im britischen Exil lebte, nach dem Krieg wieder vereint und bis zu seinem Tod zusammen war.
