Biography

Frances was born about 1839 in Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland^[1]. She was the daughter of William Aitchison and Jane MacDougall.

The AITCHESON family were assisted immigrants from Roxburghshire, Scotland, who set sail aboard the ship Medway. They departed Gravesend 24 Apr 1849 and sailed into Geelong, Victoria 8 Aug 1849^[2].
