Research Notes

If you are able to provide sources that address these questions and contribute to fuller knowledge of this profile's life please do so. Notes

  • Birth record list ethnicity as Canadian. Father, James Aikins, could have come from Canada.
  • There are several James Aikens born around the same timeframe in NH. Hannah may be the daughter of either Aiken-1448 or Aiken-369. Both Aiken's had children in the same timeframe. Aiken-369 may be the more probable since he appears to have been located in Bedford from the time of his marriage in 1763 until his death in 1787.
