Biography

Jane was born about 1825,^[1] possibly in Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of Hugh Adrain, a labourer, and Jane Unknown.

In 1846 she married John Nickle in Larne Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church. He was a labourer from Islandmagee and she was also from Islandmagee. The witnesses were John McIlroy and David Wallace.^[2]

She passed away in 1869 in Brown's Bay, Islandmagee, County Antrim, aged 44, from phthisis. She was the wife of a labourer and her death was registered by Mary Peoples of Brown's Bay.^[3]
