Biography

Vincenzo Adorno, son of the late Vittorio Adorno and Domenica Gazzara, marries Bernarda di Frisco, daughter of Nicolo’ di Frisco and Francesca Guagliardo, on 26 November 1809.^[1]

Vincenzo and Bernarda have at least two children, Vittorio (c. 1811) and Domenica (c. 1823).

I estimate Vittorio is born around 1811, a couple years after his parents marry. He is named after his paternal grandfather, traditional for the first born son.

Domenica is born around 1823, based on her reported age at death. She is named after her paternal grandmother, which is traditional for the first born daughter.

Domenica marries Gaetano lo Bue on 11 September 1842. Her father has died by this time.^[2]

Vittorio marries Calogera Gagliano on 3 September 1843. His mother has also died by this time.^[3]

Domenica dies on 13 July 1868 at age 45. She lives in via Portosalvo. Gaetano survives her.^[4]
