Biography
John was born in 1866. He was the son of Samuel Adey and Mary Janes. [1] He married Bertha Strong on May 16, 1895 at Clarenville, Newfoundland. [2] John and Bertha were listed on the 1911 Census at Clarenville, Newfoundland.[3] His wife passed away in 1913 and John is listed as a widower on the 1921 [4]census at Clarenville with five of their sons, He passed away in 1926 at Clarenville, Newfoundland[5] and is buried in the Methodist Cemetery, Gulliford's Lane, Clarenville.[6]
