Southern Cross of Honor James Adeer, Private, 9th Louisiana Infantry Company C.

Enlisted Camp Moore, Louisiana, July 7th, 1861. Present on All Rolls to August 31st, 1861. Roll for September and October, 1861. Died October 2, 1861, Camp Moore, from Typhoid Fever.[1][2] Born in Georgia, farmer and resident of Mount Lebanon, Louisiana. Single.[3]
