Nat Adderley is Notable.

American jazz cornetist and trumpeter. Both him and elder brother Julian "Cannonball" Adderley saw success in the bop scene from the 1950s onwards. He also contributed heavily to the development of soul jazz, during his tenure in his brother's quintet. Played in the bands of Lionel Hampton and Woody Herman, as well as collaborating with other jazz musicians in projects.

Nat was inducted into the Jazz Hall of Fame in 1997. He was an artist-in-residence at Florida Southern College in 1996.

In 1950, Nathaniel Adderly (18) was newly hired as a teacher. He was living with his parents, Julian and Jessie, in Tallahassee.[1]

Nat passed away in 2000. Burial was in the Southside Cemetery, Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.[2]
