Gordon Boyd Adams was born on August 29, 1927 in Middleton, Annapolis, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of Joseph Richard Adams (1892–1968) and Olive Julia Hiltz (1903–1978).
Gordon had a sister, Lillian Marguerite Adams (1922–1965).
Gordon married Altha Fern Haynes (born on August 28, 1938 in Victoria Beach, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia). Their known son was Timothy George Adams (1972–2012).
Gordon died on February 5, 2006 in Middleton, aged 78. He was buried in Torbrook Mines Cemetery.[1]
