Gloria Dawn Adams was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania on April 21, 1930 to Arthur and Alfaretta Myers Adams. She was the first of four children, all daughters, born to the couple.

Gloria was raised in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. In her late teens, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to become a student nurse at St. Francis Hospital. She lived in Mary Immaculate Hall as a professional student nurse.

Gloria married a man with the last name Wagner (his first name is unknown at this point.)

Gloria died in Cheswick, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1994. She was 63 years old.
