Cecelia "Celia" Ann Francis Adams was born on August 11, 1845, in Upson County, Georgia, United States, daughter of Carter Adams (1812–1858) and Mariam Burnett (1823–bef. 1862).[1]

Celia (age 19) married Thomas Jefferson Blasingame (age 24) on August 28, 1864, in Upson County, Georgia, United States.[2] They had the following children:

  1. James Carter Blasingame (1865-1942)
  2. Lena "Jessie" Blasingame Ridley (1867-1910)
  3. Sarah "Sallie" Blasingame Coleman (1871-1952)
  4. Jack Blasingame (1877-1880)
  5. Rubin T. Blasingame (b. 1878)
  6. Richard Dudley "Ric" Blasingame (1882-1949)
  7. Susan Blasingame (1884-1886)

Celia died on May 30, 1903, in Zebulon, Pike, Georgia, United States, aged 57. She was buried in Eastview Cemetery, Zebulon, Pike, Georgia.[3]

Mrs. Blasingame Dead
Mrs. T.J. Blasingame, of Zebulon, died last Saturday at her home in Zebulon, after an illness of several months. She was a woman well-known in the county and much loved. She lived a consistent christian life and her death is mourned by many friends. (Transcribed 12/14/23 by Debra L. Akin)
