We've missed you. Your Ancestors have missed you. Are you still interested in participating on WikiTree? Please let me know what your intentions are. We would love to see you active again but understand if you are no longer interested.
Let me explain what will happen if you no longer wish to continue on WikiTree, all of your living profiles will be deleted for privacy reasons, all profiles meeting the 150/200 year rule will be opened up and orphaned so others may adopt them and your personal profile will be deleted. I understand how tough that will be after all the work you have put into building profiles. Is there someone you can transfer your profiles to? If yes, please contact me and I will send you information on how to do that.
Thank you for all of your past contributions and hopefully future contributions.
Hi Robert, I work on connecting all the Husted profiles on Wikitree. I created profiles for Victor Herbert Husted's parents, but can't edit the profile (privacy restrictions). Add them and you'll find your connection to Robert Husted, the immigrant. You can adopt the profiles if you wish. Victor and I are 6th cousins, 4 times removed. Cheers, H.
I appreciate your entering my (adopted) grandfather's source, the Jenne family book. He collaborated on the book - I've heard of it and seen a xerox end page of his comments about his adopted daughters
I really don't know a lot about the Jennings branch, but was able to find a few bits of info on my old acct. that allowed me to find the father Jennings-1819 & mother Bassett-974 for Ephraim Sr., which brought in another brother, Thomas. I then tried to connect his grandfather, but it becomes a bit convoluted at this point. I cant be sure at this time whether it is Robert or Thomas ... There may have been two Richard Jennings in this time period.
One of the Richards on WikiTree Jennings-992, has several more brothers shown, but no John and none are sourced or have downlines ....
What do you have for John Jenny and your family connection to him?
Hi, I am Dorothy, a WikiTree mentor!! Are you enjoying your time on WikiTree so far?
Now that you have had a little time to try our site, there are a few more features you may find useful:
For instance, ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards; including some tips on writing biographies
Also a friendly reminder about adding sources and references to your profile. Sources are critically important for genealogy and you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from. This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?
Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.
