Ruth (Acy) Palmer immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Ruth Asie, daughter of Willmi Asie, was baptized 14 March 1621 at Kirk Ella, Yorkshire, England;[1][2][3] From the Parish Registers of Kirk Ella, Yorkshire-Baptisms:[4]

Ruth Acy arrived in New England with her parents and three siblings in December 1638 aboard the ship John of London, with a group led by Ezekiel Rogers. The family settled in Rowley, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
Ruth (Palmar), wife of John, was buried 13 October 1649 at Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts Bay,[6] a week after her son John was born. Her widower husband remarried and had four more children.[3]
