No actual birth registration can be found, including from GenealogySA.org.au, who hold all BDM records from the South Australia Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriage. Some very early records were not recorded. South Australia was proclaimed a state in 1839, and many settlers were living in very remote area's often in tents and other types of dwelling, and may not have known about the registration of BDM in the new state of South Australia. -Heneker-11.
