Stacey Abrams served as the Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017 and was the 2018 and 2022 Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia.[1]
Stacey Yvonne Abrams was born in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1973. She is the second of six children of Robert and Carolyn Abrams, both Methodist ministers. She was raised in Gulfport, Mississippi.
