Will

Will of Benjamin Abraham ... "I, Benjaben Abrim of East Nantmell Township in the county of Chester, be weak & infirm of body, yet through devine goodness of perfect mind & memory & calling to mind the mortality of the body, knowing that it is appointed once for all men to die, do make and ordain this my last Will & testament. That is to say first, I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the descretion of my executors. Nothing but I shall receive the same again at the resurection of the just by the mighty power of God and as to the worldly substance with which God hath blessed me I will it be given in the following manner.

Imprimis: I give & bequeath to my son, Benjamin Abrim, the sum of twenty pounds.

Item: I give unto my son James, twenty pounds.

Item: I give unto my son Lot Abrim. the sum of 25 pounds.

Item: I give unto Ann Wynn, wife of Thomas Wynn, my bed and bedding

Item: I give unto Mary Wynn, wife of Warner Wynn, my large Bible.

Item: I give unto my other three daughters as much as will purchase large Bibles apiece for each of them.

Item: My land and other property I order to be sold at publick SEAL and to be divided eaugielly between my children.

After my debts being paid, I will and appoint William James, James Dunwoddie, to be my executors of this my last Will and testament, cancelling and disannulling all former Wills made by me rectifying, confirming this and no other to be my last Will and testament. Where in witness whereof, I have set my hand & seal this 3rd day of October anno 1783.
