Biography

20 years old per his first marriage record, his parents marry in St-François-du-Lac and remain there until at least 1711 when his brother Pierre marries

He passed away on 19 February 1780 in Montreal. His funeral was held the next day at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal

First Marriage

He married Marie Catherine PERINAU LAMARCHE, daughter of Jacques PERINAU LAMARCHE and Marie Noelle VIGER, on 19 February 1716 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. Together, they had the following (known) children[1]

  1. Anonyme (m), n. 23 May 1717, d. 23 May 1717, St-François-du-Lac (St-François-Xavier)
  2. Ignacé, n. 30 June 1718, St-François-du-Lac (St-François-Xavier), d. 26 Oct 1803, Notre-Dame-de-Montréal; he married Marie Françoise PARENT on 15 May 1747 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal
  3. Pierre, n. 11 Nov 1720, Notre-Dame-de-Montréal; he married Françoise PARENT on 10 April 1758 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal

Second Marriage

He married Marie Francoise DANIS TOURANGEAU, daughter of Jean Baptiste DANIS TOURANGEAU and Anne BADEL LAMARCHE, on 16 Nov 1722 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. Together, they had the following (known) children[2]:

Third Marriage

He married Marie Jeanne PARENT, daughter of Mathurin PARENT and Jeanne BOUCHER, on 3 February 1735 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. There were no children from this union.

Fourth Marriage

He married Marie Jeanne HAYES HAY, daughter of Pierre HAYES HAY and Marie Catherine CAMPEAU on 12 January 1750 at St Laurent, Montréal, Quebec. There were no children from this union.
