  5. Joseph Abernathy,
  6. Berryman Abernathy,

  8. Catherine Anna (Abernathy) Shuford

Miles had only one wife, Nancy Rockett, who he married after December 12, 1809 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, United States. They had the following children:
