Jessie (Abercrombie) Rankine was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Jessie Elizabeth Abercrombie (married name Rankine) was born in 1867 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Mary Anna (Kenshole) Abercrombie and Andrew Thomson Abercrombie.[1]
She married Creighton Wilson Rankine in 1898 in Victoria.[2] Their children were:[3]
- Leonard Andrew Abercrombie Rankine (1899–?)
- Dorothy Constance Rankine (1900–?)
- Ralph Noel Rankine (1903–1981)
- Austin Abercrombie Rankine (1904–?)
- Beatrice Maude Rankine (1905–?)
Jessie died in 1912 in Hawthorn, Victoria, aged 45 years.[4]
